Nando’s launches NEW Nandoca burger
Last year, nearly 100 Nandocas (that’s what Nando’s proudly calls its people) put their creativity to the test in Nando’s very first Nandoca Burger Competition. With bold flavours and big ideas on the menu, one burger rose above the rest.
Created by Ilona from Nando’s South Aylesford in Kent, the winning Nandoca Burger wowed the judges and earned its place on menus across the UK — and now you can try it right here at The Atrium.
So, what makes it such a winner?
The Nandoca Burger is stacked with a grilled chicken breast, melted cheddar, crunchy Rainbow Slaw, Herby Pickles, Churrasco PERinaise, and a punchy Mango & Lime PERi-Chutney. It’s sweet, tangy, crunchy and fiery all at once — exactly what Nando’s does best.
The judges were especially impressed by Ilona’s homemade-style PERi-Chutney, made using fresh mango and chillies grown by her mum from the seeds of Nando’s very own African Birdseye chilli. Now that’s next-level flavour.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Ilona said:
“I didn’t expect to win when I entered the competition, but now my creation is going to be in every Nando’s restaurant in the UK! I’m so excited for everyone to try it!”
This competition is what makes Nando’s, Nando’s – celebrating creativity, taking risks, and giving Nandocas the chance to share their ideas with the whole country.
The Nandoca Burger is available for a limited time only, so make sure to stop by Nando’s at The Atrium and give it a try while you can.
