INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION OF DESIGNERS
At The Atrium, we are passionate about nurturing young talent. Our dedicated showcase unit on the Upper Level, located near VUE and Mimosa, provides a platform to exhibit the work of students from Farnborough College of Technology on a regular basis.
Read on to find out where the students get their inspiration and which university they’ll be heading to in September….
- Dougie’s final project was based on Graffiti, he collaborated with a couple of graffiti artists and created a streetwear collection. Dougie is off to study Fashion design in Northampton in September
- Eves’ final collection was based on creating concert Outfits for Elton John for major concert locations of New York, Paris and London. Eve is progressing to study Fashion Design at Falmouth Uni in September.
- Beth’s final project took its inspiration from the act of war, looking at how often it destroys those around it. Beth is off to Falmouth Uni in September.
- Ella based her final garments on the book ‘The Girl Who Dared to Think. She is off to study costume design at Wimbledon College of Arts UAL in September.
