November Charity Spotlight: The Hope Hub
This month, we’re proud to shine a light on The Hope Hub, a local charity working to prevent and end homelessness in our community. Their support services have helped hundreds find stability and hope.
Their Mission
The Hope Hub is committed to preventing and ending homelessness. They provide holistic support that addresses immediate needs, personal empowerment, and long-term wellbeing.
What They Do
Crisis Support: Drop-in services, food parcels, emergency items, and short-term accommodation through referrals via Surrey Heath Borough Council.
Empowerment Services: 1:1 support for housing and benefit applications, job searches, advocacy, and money management.
Wellbeing Support: Guidance on mental health, addiction, and life skills, plus referrals to specialist services.
Energy Advice: Help to reduce energy bills and manage living costs.
How You Can Help
Donate: Food, essential items, or financial contributions, especially during their Winter Giving Campaign.
Volunteer: Assist at their day hub, Emergency Accommodation Service, or community projects.
Spread the Word: Raise awareness about homelessness and The Hope Hubβs impact.
